I had a sudden urge to find yellow nail polish a few weeks ago, and finally did, at urban.Yellow toenails scream summertime!
I'm in love with my new chair! I spent a lot of time tidying up my room last week-- it was an overwhelming task, so I did it in stages.

when I first opened this post and saw that photo of your tights I totally thought it was a close up of bedding...I love it...both as tights or if it was bedding. I think I'm addicted a little bit to patterns, especially if they don't really match but go together anyway.
I think that lately I've been noticing texture a lot more. I love all the varying textures that you see in one walk from my house to the coffee shop. I pass the same buildings on the same streets but seem to notice a new texture each time. Fascinating.

I love the every pleasure of being able to do whatever I want to do!! I usually just hang out with my dog Rocky go for walks. I miss my scrapbooking hobby...actually I ran out of photos and a few supplies...
I love how your room is so simple compared to mine. I need to do another "spring cleaning"...maybe next.

hmmm, simple things in life? how 'bout a lovely postcard from a lovely girl written with a quill pen? how 'bout cucumber/red onion/tomato salsa on chicken gyros at home. the curl of Felix's hair at the back of his neck when it's humid out. jasper smiling faintly at some baby dream while deeply asleep. waking up to find my two eldest snuggled in bed together telling each other stories beside an open window as rain comes down. spotting red wing black birds in the fields as we whizz past. sharing bowls of cereal late night in bed talking over the day with hubby. yup. the simple things. oh, and sam is reading this and wants me to tell you "hi". lots of love all 'round.
p.s. I told Ryan tonight (before reading this post) that your blog makes me want to renounce my anti-blog stance and begin one of my own...stay tuned...
